Questions?

How does Laser Hair Removal work?

The Diode laser targets pigment, hair & melanin. The light energy is converted to heat, which damages the hair follicles that produce hairs. This damage inhibits hair growth.

How many sessions do I need?

Everyone is different, but on average 3-5 treatments will remove 99% of the hair.

What laser is used?

Diode lasers are the newest and most effective lasers for hair removal.  The Diode laser has a higher melanin absorption rate, making it more effective for clients. Using a Diode laser yields better results and the treatments are nearly painless due to the integrated cooling from the handle and cooling gel.  Traditional machines take 10-12 treatments and the treatments are very painful.  The Diode laser has many settings including 755nm / 808nm / 1064nm to cover as many skin types and hair types as possible.

Is it permanent?

After the first treatment, you may see a 10–25% reduction in hair. Laser hair removal doesn't guarantee permanent hair removal, and you may need periodic maintenance treatments later on in life. Medications, hormones and life changes can cause new hair follicles to form. A series of  3-5 treatments are suggested to remove 99% of hair.

Do I need to stay out of the sun?

Yes, after any laser treatment it is recommended to stay out of the sun for at least 7 days. Wear sunscreen, stay in the shade or cover the treated areas.

How far apart do I book my treatments?

Every 4 weeks is perfect!
